Samantha Bouchie grew up in a small town called Moultonborough, NH, and moved to Truckee, CA in 2014. She Has lived and worked with horses as a hunter/jumper trainer in Truckee for the past 11 years.

She started riding at 8 years old, and has been “horse obsessed” ever since. She showed horses on the East Coast in hunter/jumper events all over New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. She has also been a trail guide in New Hampshire and California, and also managed carriage and sleigh rides back in New Hampshire for a few years.

Sam has always loved teaching children various sports, including freestyle snowboarding and horseback riding. So, when she moved to the Tahoe area, she had the best of both worlds and has never looked back.

Sam is extremely excited to be a SNHSA board member because it helps her be more involved in the horse community and meet and make new connections in the equestrian community.
