Young Horse Trainer School

The annual Young Horse Trainer School, which benefits the Goodtoknow Horses 501(c)3, has now become a sought-after educational opportunity for people wishing to learn more about training young horses. From halter breaking foals to backing 3-year-olds to preparing sport horse prospects for the International Jumper Futurity, the school offers a variety of educational opportunities, both in the classroom and in the arenas, to expand your horsemanship and training knowledge.

$1,500/per person non-riding participant

$2,500/per person riding participant*

$3,000/per person participant wishing to bring a horse for starting or remedial work**

Deposit: $500 – must be received before space will be reserved – please make checks payable to Goodtoknow Horses

For the sixth consecutive year, a generous benefactor will provide grants to two deserving applicants (a rider and an auditor) who show financial need and would like to attend YHTS.
